Being detained and taken into custody is an extremely traumatic experience. It's during those times that you need an experienced legal team to be by your side in court. For myself, it came in the form of a 3 AM stop where I was soon sitting in a patrol car waiting to be transported to the magistrates; by the time I was allowed access to a phone, there were only 2 numbers to call: my family to tell them I won't be home for supper and The Locke Law Group. Being tightly shackled in county lock-up, surrounded by 80 other detainees is trying and exhausting; but even after a full 24-hour-no-sleep-detention, I knew the long day wouldn't be over until I spoke with Shannon on the phone. After some time, Shannon, Javier, and the team at The Locke Law Group were able to represent my side of things fully and got the case closed and dismissed.
