This is punishable by a fine of up to $2,000 and/or up to 180 days in jail.
If the value of the property stolen is $750 or more, the defendant could face a state jail felony charge. This is punishable by a fine of up to $10,000 and/or up to two years in state jail.
If the defendant is a corporation and the value of the property stolen is $100,000 or more, the defendant could face a first-degree felony charge. This is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or up to life in prison.
